Lovely Cove

The Lovely Cove weekend adventure.  It all started out as a nice light wind sail.  Lots of competition between the O dock crowd. Lovely Cove fits it's name.  There was only one other set of boats anchored, and appeared to be the beginnings of a nice quiet weekend.

We were all anchored in a raft up enjoying the day.  There was a little of everything, reading, swimming and telling of sailing stories.

And of course "Jersey" was on patrol keeping everyone in line and safe.

The afternoon settled down as we all "relaxed"

The story no shown here is the magnificent light show accompanied by blowing wind and rain for about 45 minutes.  A little anchor dragging and the raft up of 11 boat became 4 separate groups.

And as you can see the morning was calm and quiet.

Yes, another fine weekend on the Chesapeake Bay.
