These day races will go round the cans in three different areas in Eastern Bay and the Chester River. The races will be open to all comers and will be followed by social activities at various locations to be confirmed nearer to race day.

IMPORTANT COURSE NOTES
1. For South Narrows starts, the start/finish line will be set in a NE-SW direction and will line up with the Narrows #3 Green and #4 Red beacons. Use the alignment of the Green beacon and the orange buoy at the NE end of the line to time your finish.
2. A direct straight line between the start/finish line and the South Narrows #1 beacon will clip the edge of the infamous "BLOB" shallow spot. At low tide this will have no more than about 4 feet of water so watch your depth, a minor swing to the north east will save your race and some embarrassing treatment in the bar afterwards.
3. Please refer to the Race Instructions for all other information about start time, time keeping, scoring, safety, communications, and racing rules.

Start line set about 150 yards north of Narrows Beacon #1 (in the entrance of Kirwan's Creek).
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to starboard and head South to #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island.
Leave #1 Green buoy to port and head Northeast into Prospect Bay and round buoy marks "A" and "B".
West to RN #2. (leave to starboard)
North to Narrows Beacon #1. (leave to port)
Back to finish on the start line.
Course 2 (flag #2), South Narrows, Prospect Bay - Distance 6.8 NM (See notes 1 & 2)
Start line set about 150 yards north of Narrows Beacon #1 (in the entrance of Kirwan's Creek).
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to starboard and head South to #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island.
Round #1 Green buoy leaving it to port
North to Narrows Beacon #1. (leave to port)
Back to finish on the start line.

Course 4 (flag #4), South Narrows, Prospect Bay - Distance 2.2 NM (See notes 1 & 2)
Start line set about 150 yards north of Narrows Beacon #1 (in the entrance of Kirwan's Creek).
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to starboard and head South to RN #2.
Pass within 50 yards of the RN#2 leaving it to your port and time your finish when it bears due East (090°)
Course 5, South Narrows, Eastern Bay - Distance 23.0 NM (See notes 1 & 2)
Start line set about 150 yards north of Narrows Beacon #1 (in the entrance of Kirwan's Creek).
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to starboard and head South to #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island.
Leave #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island to starboard and head southwest into Eastern Bay.
Turn round #1 Green buoy off Bloody Point leaving it to starboard and return back up Eastern Bay.
Leave #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island to port.
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to port.
Finish on the start line.
Course 6, South Narrows, Eastern Bay - Distance 16.7 NM (See notes 1 & 2)
Start line set about 150 yards north of Narrows Beacon #1 (in the entrance of Kirwan's Creek).
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to starboard and head South to #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island.
Leave #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island to starboard and head southwest into Eastern Bay.
Turn round #2A red buoy off Claiborne leaving it to starboard and return back up Eastern Bay.
Leave #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island to port.
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to port.
Finish on the start line.
Course 7, South Narrows, Eastern Bay - Distance 10.5 NM (See notes 1 & 2)
Start line set about 150 yards north of Narrows Beacon #1 (in the entrance of Kirwan's Creek).
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to starboard and head South to #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island.
Leave #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island to starboard and head southwest into Eastern Bay.
Turn round #4 red buoy off Tilghman Point leaving it to starboard and return back up Eastern Bay.
Leave #1 Green buoy off Parsons Island to port.
Leave Narrows #1 beacon to port.
Finish on the start line.

Start line set about 300 yards North West of Narrows Beacon #2K (North Side of the Narrows in the Chester River).
Two different loops. From start go to GC#7 (leave to port), to GC#3 (leave to port), through the start gate and round either end, to GC#7 (again leave to port), to R#6 (leave to port), to the finish.
Course 71, Round The Island Race - Distance 32 NM
Start line set about 300 yards North West of Narrows Beacon #2K (North Side of the Narrows in the Chester River).
Go north and round Love Point Rock Pile 35ft tower, leave to port,
Through the Bay Bridge Main Channel center span (186 ft min. clearance),
Leave Bloody Point Bar Tower to port,
Leave G"1" to port,
Leave Parsons Island G"1" to port,
Finish on a line at the Narrows #1 Green Beacon.
