Let the Party Begin!

We got back to Mears Marina as the sun was setting.  Everyone was tired, hungry, and thirsty and ready for the End-of-The-Run party.  As in previous years, everyone brought their favorite covered dishes and desserts, and there was plenty of imbibing.  This year's band, Mama Jama, was Bay Weekly's "Best of the Bay" and party band.  They played a blend of rock, reggae, calypso and blues. Again, Jane, our party coordinator,  pulled it off without a hitch.

Awards and Prizes

Awards were given out for the RWYB Challenge PHRF race as well as door prizes that were provided by
Ocean Navigator.

Mike won the 50-50.  Al, Captain of Stalker took first place in the RWYB Challenge and Doug Abbott of Freestyle took the 2nd place trophy.
