Middle River 2004

The guys from Middle River have been actively participating in the RWYB Regatta for 3 years.  This group is in hot pursuit of the RWYB Challenge Trophy.  They are several boat owners that crew together and compete against each other.  This year they brought down 2 boats from Middle River; Surprise and Alibi.  This year's header photo (top of each page) is taken from Surprise; "Alibi" motoring down the bay toward Kent Narrows.

Not only do they bring a competitive sprit to the PHRF side of the regatta, they also bring the camaraderie of sailing and the proper Run What You Bring Attitude "Let's go sailing and have some fun" and they like to party!

"New Broom" Skippered by Paul Geppert also from Middle River and a part of the middle river gang participated in the cruising class, and was one also one of the few boats to complete the entire trip around the Island in the windless conditions.  Let's hope for an early Spring.

Thanks,

Ray Haber "Alibi"
