We got back to Mears Marina as the sun was setting. Everyone was tired, hungry, and thirsty and ready for the End-of-The-Run party. As in previous years, everyone brought their favorite covered dishes and desserts, and there was plenty of imbibing. This year was the first year that the music was “live” and Jane, our party coordinator, pulled it off without a hitch. “Them Eastport Oyster Boys” entertained the crowd for hours.
Accompanied by the RWYB Regatta Band! 
 
They started off with some relaxing dinner music then launched into some of their greatest hits. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the music and some regatta participants participated in the music making. The music lasted till midnight, at which point a quick moving group of volunteers put the marina pavilion back as they found it. Another successful RWYB had come to a close.
